Lagos - Reverend Mathew Kukah has urged Muhammadu Buhari to restore public confidence in governance when he is sworn in as president.

Kukah said that restoring confidence in politics and governance should be an immediate priority for Buhari's administration as the country would be taking steps to solidify itself as a democracy.
He added that the country's immediate future would depend upon the decisions Buhari makes in assembling a team that would ensure that Nigeria moves forward as a democracy.
He also called on Nigerians to trust Buhari's judgement and integrity.
