Lagos - Kogi state residents have shown their excitement at the lead that All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari is enjoying as the collation of results continues, Punch reported.

Residents in the region have been going about their daily activities in a peaceful manner, with an excitement evident as they await the collation of results.

Voters in the region were confident that Buhari would be victorious as Nigeria's next president with many expecting a positive change in the country with a new leader.

Many expect Buhari to claim victory in what has been a tightly contested presidential elections.
