Card readers prevented PDP from rigging polls: Buhari

Abuja - President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has commended members of his campaign media team on running a "decent media campaign" despite attempts from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to discredit him and his party.

According to a Naij report, Buhari thanked members of the Presidential Campaign Media and Publicity team, which is led by Malam Shehu Garba.

Buhari commended the focus of the team and thanked them for their commitment to the campaign.

The President-elect also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on its use of card readers during the election period, saying the PDP would have probably rigged the process had the technology not been implemented.
