Abuja - Elder statesman and former Federal Commissioner for Information, Edwin Clark, has berated the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, for presenting a “Certificate of Commendation” to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega, reports Vanguard.
He described Obama’s action has too hasty considering the fact that governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls are yet to be conducted.

Clark, who spoke with journalists on Tuesday in Abuja, urged Obama and the U.S. to leave Nigeria alone.
He stated that Nigeria remains an independent country capable of doing its things, its own way and not according to the dictates of the western world.
