Asaba - Venerable Felix Okonkwo, a cleric of the Anglican Communion in Delta State, on Sunday got a N10 million donation for his church after calling the All Progressives Congress (APC) an Islamic party, reports NewsDay.
Okonkwo, who is the Vicar-in-Charge of St. Phillips Anglican Church, Asaba, described the APC as a party formed to promote and propagate the ideas of Islamism.
Okonkwo, who sated this during a special thanksgiving service in honour of Ifeanyi Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)governorship candidate in the state, noted that the APC was out to kill people and destroy Nigeria.
The cleric urged the congregation, which included Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, to be watchful so that the APC won’t be successful in its attempt to set Islamic programs on Nigerians. Also read: Cardinal Okogie condemns Fr. Mbaka's criticism of Jonathan
