Abuja - This afternoon the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has given the Independent National Electoral Commission the go ahead to use the Smart Card Reader machines in the general elections, Vanguard reported.

The court has refused to issue an interim order to stop INEC from employing the machines for the presidential elections.
However the court has summoned the electoral body and Attorney General to appear in court before on April 24 to address the legal use of the card readers.
