No reason has been provided for the arrests and the whereabouts of the chieftains remain unknown.

When contacted for comment, DSS Director Abubakar Bubuche denied knowledge of the arrests.

Reports suggest that the PDP, in collaboration with the Federal Government, have allegedly listed nine APC leaders as well as some government officials who should be detained until the election results have been announced.
