Daniel, Amosun, Isiaka and Obasanjo all win polling units

Abuja - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, alongside Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun and his predecessor Otunba Gbenga Daniel have each won their respective polling units in the governorship elections, held yesterday, Vanguard reports.

At Obasanjo's polling unit at ward 11 unit 22 in Totoro, Abeokuta, the All Progressives Congress (APC) recorded 95 votes, while Obasanjo's former party the People's Democratic Party (PDP) recorded just 4 and the Social Development Party (SDP) 14.

Amuson won at this polling unit at ward 4 unit 3 in Obafemi-owode with the APC polling 212, the PDP 30 and the SDP 2.

Former Governor Otunba Gbega Daniel won Isote in Sagamu for the PDP with 167 votes while the APC managed to secure 108 votes.

PDP Governorship candidate Prince Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka also struck it lucky, winning his polling unit at Imeko ward in the Imeko-Afon LGA of the state, polling 213 votes while the APC mustered 35 and the SDP 11.
