Abeokuta - Former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniels has denied on going speculation that he may dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a as a way of registering his grievances over the outcome of the Ogun East Senatorial district election, reports Premium Times.
Daniels, in a statement signed by his media officer, Ayo Giwa, said the reports of his defection to another political party is a mere speculation with no iota of truth.
He stated that he remains a bonafide member of PDP and his loyalty to the party is intact.Also read: Gbenga Daniel is not from Ogun State - Amosun
He maintained that he is fully committed in ensuring that President Jonathan and the PDP win Ogun in the February general elections.
