Kano - Former Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. T. Y. Danjuma, has urged security agencies to arrest some former Niger Delta militants, such as Mujahid Asari-Dokubo and Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), for threatening violence should President Goodluck Jonathan lose the February 14 presidential election, reports Punch.
He noted that that the former militants were making reckless and irresponsible statements capable of plunging Nigeria into war.
Danjuma, who was speaking while inaugurating the Kwankwasiyya City , said warned that miscreants must not be allowed to hold the country by the jugular.Also read: APC wants Asari-Dokubo called to order
He said Nigeria is greater and bigger than any other person no matter his position or how close to power he is.
