Deputy Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba, on Friday inaugurated 11 campaign
vehicles for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina South senatorial
Garba, who is the PDP senatorial candidate in the zone,
urged the electorate to consider the credibility and capability of candidates
before casting their votes.
He expressed the need for political leaders and party
loyalists to ensure transparent dealings at all times and support candidates
with people oriented programmes.
Garba said the PDP had ensured equity and justice in its
dealings with the people of the state, which facilitated increased membership
for the party.

He said the campaign vehicles would assist members of the
party to embark on mass mobilisation of voters before the general election.
Garba urged all PDP members to unite and refrain from all
acts capable of causing disaffection.
He reaffirmed the commitment of PDP to transform the state
for the better.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Funtua Local Government,
Alhaji Yazid Abdullahi-Goya, harped on the need to choose candidates with
excellent service records that had impacted on societal development.
Abdullahi-Goya challenged the party's leadership to live up
to expectation by going out to woo more people to vote for candidates presented
by the party at all levels of the elections.
Similarly, Alhaji Muntari Ammani, the Chairman of Malumfashi
Local Government, assured the electorate that the PDP had presented candidates
