Abuja - Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose and the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba have claimed that the crisis created by the impeachment plot has been blown out of proportion.

Speaking at the opening of the NLC Delegate Conference in Ado Ekiti, Wabba said that the impeachment plot had sent out the wrong signals to outsiders.
Fayose was served with an impeachment notice by 19 All Progressives Congress lawmakers citing 8 impeachable offences.
Wabba hailed Fayose for showing maturity within the so-called crisis and attributed it to allowing peace to reside within the region.
Fayose added that workers played a prominent role in his reelection and labelled them as promoters of peace and the pivot of his government.
