Lagos - Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria has said that he fears the upcoming elections will be sabotaged by what he called anti-democratic forces, Naij reported.

Falana added that these actions could result in the military staging a coup d'etat, setting in place an interim government.

Speaking at the Foursquare Gospel Church owned Life Theological Seminary at the weekend, he warned of post-election violence that could result if the polls take place.

He however praised the government's efforts to eradicate Boko Haram, but warned Nigerians to prepare themselves for a long and drawn-out battle for the liberation of the country from economic and political predators.
