Abuja - A former Senate President in the Second Republic, Joseph Wayas has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Thisday.
He blamed the PDP for neglecting his contribution to the growth of the party.
The former Senate President defected alongside his son, Joseph Wayas Jnr.

He accused some people in the PDP of frustrating all attempts by his son to vie for the seat of the House of Representatives in Cross Rivers State on the party’s platform.
He dismissed the insinuations that by joining APC, he would be embracing Muhammadu Buhari who sacked the civilian government in 1983, saying it was a non-issue.
