Fashola dispels insecurity rumours in Lagos

Lagos - Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos on Monday urged residents to remain calm as the election results are announced, reports

Addressing journalists in Ikeja, Fashola denied  that there was tension in the state, urging people to go about their normal businesses.

The governor explained that people were being mislead on social media  that he had asked workers to close early over security concerns.

The governor said he understood that there was anxiety as far as the elections were concerned.

 Fashola told residents not to yield to the antics of those planning to cause tension with the situation.
