Benin - Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State on Thursday berated President Goodluck Jonathan for blaming past leaders for the problems facing the country and his administration, reports Punch.

Fashola, who spoke during the mobilisation visit of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign held at Imaguero College in Benin, Edo State, advised him to resign, if the seat is becoming to hot for him.

Fashola, who was reacting to President Jonathan’s comments at the launch of his re-election campaign rally in Lagos, said the President had shown anger in his comments about Nigeria’s problems and was blaming everybody for the failure of his administration.

He noted that Jonathan should not forget that he has been in power for six years and may actually be the problem of Nigeria.

According to Fashola, the APC has the capacity to effect positive change in government if elected.
