Fayose denies being behind the arrest of APC members

Lagos - Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has strongly denied ordering police officials and vigilantes to arrest All Progressives Party members, Punch reported.

He instead claimed that the allegations against him was an attempt by the APC to cause confusion as it knew it will be defeated in the upcoming elections.

Fayose also vowed to retrieve government vehicles, still in the possession of political appointees, under the Kayode Fayemi administration, as they refuse to pay up.

He added that he couldn't see the correlation between retrieving these vehicles, to arresting APC members.

Fayose lastly added that the APC were known for fabricating lies, and should instead focus on a faltering presidential campaign.
