Ado Ekiti - Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has expressed gratitude to the people of the state for helping him to survive the impeachment plot against him by the All Progressives Congress (APC) members of the state House of Assembly, reports Premium Times.
He described the last few months as traumatic for him as a result of the aborted plans to remove him from office.
Fayose, who addressed the people of the state on Thursday, noted that the period of the crisis could have been used for the development.

He stated that with the victory against the attempted impeachment, he will now squarely face the business of governance.
He said he would not waste his time on revenge, since it was God that gave him the victory.
The tenure of the APC lawmakers came to an end Thursday.
