Jigawa - One of the founding members of the People's
Democratic Party, Alhaji Sidi has defected to the All Progressive Congress, due
to a number of internal issues, Naij reported.
Sidi has stated that he left the PDP due to a lack of internal democracy by the
leadership in Jigawa State.

He further stated that he was moving together with a number of supporters in
the state to join the APC.
According to Sidi, the APC is well coordinated in the state compared to the
ruling party. He is quite impressed with the leadership of the opposition and
together with the education he has, he is willing to offer the APC his skills
He has called all his supporters to vote for the APC in the upcoming elections.
