The group, the Buhari Vanguard, said it has uncovered plot by agents of the presidency to eliminate Buhari before the March 28 presidential election.
Jasper Azuatalam, chairman of the group, in a statement on Monday, said the recent paid advertorials on national newspapers by some prominent PDP members predicting Buhari’s death are part of a plot to test the waters before carrying out their motive.
He noted that the agents of the government have turned into prophets of doom by prophesying the death and incapacitation of Buhari.
He called on Nigerians and the international community to keep an eye”on the Presidency and the PDP regarding Buhari’s safety.
