Gunmen raid Oyegun’s residence in Abuja

Abuja - Unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday raided the Abuja residence  of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) John Oyegun, reports Premium Times.

Oyegun was away attending a previously unscheduled meeting in Abuja when the invaders struck.

The invaders, two burly men, upon gaining entry into Oegun;s compound made straight for  his bedroom.

According to a statement issued in Lagos on Monday by APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, the party sated that it was only Oyegun’s room that was ransacked, fueling suspicion that the assailants are assassins.

The party called on the police to unravel what happened.
