Minna - Two campaign vehicles belonging to President Goodluck Jonathan were on Sunday attacked and set ablaze in Niger State by political thugs, reports NewsDay.
The hoodlums were said to be sympathetic towards the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The buses were set ablaze during a campaign rally in Suleja by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the state, Umar Mohammed Nasko.Also read: Youths attack Jonathan’s convoy in Katsina
The thugs were offended with the campaign songs emanating from the vehicle decorated with posters President Jonathan and Nasko
It took the timely intervention of the security operatives before the situation was brought under control.
