Abuja - Cross River's Governor-elect Ben Ayade declared that he will be driven by his poor background after his administration is sworn in on May 29, Naij reports.
Ayade revealed that he would be the first son of a poor man to govern the state and as a result, will focus his administration on the elevation of the poor within the state.

Speaking in Calabar during receipt of his certificate of return, Ayade said that he would create a new agenda that would uplift his people and improve their welfare.
