Owerri - The governorship election in Imo State has been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, reports Premium Times

This follows the number of cancelled votes in relation to the margin of win by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rochas Okorocha over the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Ihedioha.

The number of cancelled votes, which stood at 144 715 votes far outweighed the 79 529 votes margin that Okorocha had over Ihedioha.
