Ado Ekiti - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted the conduct of election in the 20 units declared as inconclusive in Ilejemeje local government of Ekiti State to April 25.

The commission had earlier slated the election for April 18, but it said in a statement that the election will now hold next Saturday.

INEC had cancelled election in the 20 units following violence that erupted in the area following the alleged hijacking of ballot boxes in the area during the April 11 state elections.
