Igbo ruling body finally endorses Jonathan

Awka - Igbo apex ruling body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo on Monday in Awka endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for re-election, reports The Sun.

The group said it decided to endorse Jonathan because of the need to implement the national conference recommendations.

Chris  Eluemunoh, President of Ohanaeze in Anambra State and chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo State Presidents Forum, stated that since President Jonathan convened the national conference, it was logical to re-elect him so that he can implement the confab resolutions.

Eluemunoh, who spoke on behalf the presidents of the seven states that make up the Igbo nation, urged all Ndigbo in the 36 states of the federation and Abuja to vote massively for Jonathan.
