Owerri - The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, has faulted the results of the just concluded Imo gubernatorial election, reports Vanguard.
Ihedioha, who was reacting to the victory of Gov. Rochas Okorocha on Sunday, alleged that the polls were marred by clear irregularities and electoral malpractices.

He noted that he was surprised that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) could still go ahead to declare the results in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate despite all these shortcomings.
He added that as a law-abiding citizen he would acknowledge the declaration of the results by the commission but with a view of studying the results and communicate appropriately to the Imo people on his next decision.
