Ikpeazu congratulated for Abia governorship win

Abia - The Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) has congratulated the governor-elect of Abia State, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, on his success at the re-run election over the weekend.

The group expressed confident in his ability and pledged to cooperate with him.

“You have a task to deliver on the wishes of the Abia people. We are confident in your ability and will stand by your good leadership. This is a new era in Nigerian politics defined by visible strides and accountability. We are hopeful that Abia is about to experience a leap into the future that shines with unrivaled progress,” stated TAN.

They also congratulate the people of Abia State for coming out in numbers to cast their votes during the election and ensure their votes were counted.

“We also congratulate the people of Abia for coming out to make their votes count. Success requires collective efforts of the people partnering with government. You have started with your choice, may God almighty strengthen your resolve into traceable successes in the nearest future,” TAN said.

Ikpeazu of the People’s Democratic Party was declared winner of the poll ahead of All Progressives Congress rival with 264 713 votes and 180 882 votes respectively.
