Ilaje youths back Jonathan for re-election

Abuja - Ondo State youths from the Ilaje area have resolved to back the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in the upcoming elections, PUNCH reports.

Convening under the theme "the significance of the forthcoming general election and the future of Ilaje nation", the youths gathered for a summit held by Banji Okunomo, Publicity Secretary for the PDP in the state.

The youths hailed Jonathan's achievements in his first term and said that he would achieve even more if re-elected.

Okunomo, while addressing the youths, explained the importance of the summit and said that the implementation of recommendations made by President Jonathan would turn the country around.

Okunomo came out as saying that the Ilaje people cannot cannot afford to relax with regard to the political agenda of the Yoruba people.
