Akure - The All Progressive Congress (APC) has appointed the impeached Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ali Olanusi as a member of the party’s Board of Trustees (BOT), reports Vanguard.
Olanusi’s appointment as a BOT member took effect from July 4, 2014.
The party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) in a letter signed by its Secretary, Mai Bala Buni on Monday, said Olanusi’s appointment would be for four years.

Olanusi, who defected from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to APC in the eve of March 28 presidential election, was recently impeached as the Deputy Governor of the state by 23 members of the State House of Assembly over alleged corrupt practices, absenteeism and gross misconduct.
