Abuja - Supporters of People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate Gboyega Isiaka have allegedly slept at sites where campaign billboards have been erected around Ogun in order to curb vandalism, PUNCH reports.

The move follows allegations of vandalism on life-size portraits of Isiaka, alleged to have been carried out by agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Femi Sowoolu, however, has refuted the claims. The Director of Media at Ibikunle Amosun Campaign Organisation has labelled the claims "mere figment of imagination".

State coordinator of the Goodluck and Gboyega Youth Movement Fatai Adesegun has warned against the vandalism of PDP posters and has confirmed that some correspondents do sleep at billboard sites in order to prevent re-occurrence.
