Dutse - The war of words between Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Senator Bello Maitama Yusuf over the missing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign funds has taken a new dimension, reports Vanguard.
The governor on Thursday vowed to jail Yusuf for diverting the N15million campaign fund into other use.
Lamido in a text message to Yusuf on Thursday threatened to send Yusuf to jail before he leaves office on May 29.

The missing campaign fund became open knowledge on Wednesday when Lamido accused Yusuf, who was also a former Internal Affairs minister in the second republic of diverting the money given him to distribute to the electorate in his constituency to mobilize them to vote for the PDP.
Lamido was angry with Yusuf for not only diverting the money but also defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC)
