Abuja -In line with the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, President Goodluck Jonathan and other presidential candidates in the March 28 presidential election are expected to end their campaigns by Thursday.
Others who are expected to stop canvassing for votes in whatever form are candidates vying for seats in the two chambers of the National Assembly.

The electoral Act 2010 as amended, states that all forms of electoral campaign must come to an end 24 hours before an election.
Canvassing for vote 24 hours to the elections, according to section 99 (1) of the Electoral Act is an offence.
The Act stipulates a fine of N500 000 or 12 months imprisonment for individuals that violate the order.
