Lagos - A wide gulf has emerged among Yoruba leaders and elders over who to vote for in the March 28 presidential poll, reports Vanguard.

While some of the elders are rooting for President Goodluck Jonathan, others are queuing behind the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.

The two camps on Thursday held parallel summits in Ibadan and Lagos to endorse their candidates.

While those at the Ibadan gathering were mostly for Buhari, the Lagos crowd rooted for Jonathan.
