Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday held a marathon meeting with governors of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Presidential Villa, reports Thisday.
The meeting, which was convened by Jonathan , was to strategise on how the party can win the forthcoming general elections.
The meeting reviewed the activities of the party’s campaign organisation in the thirty six states of the federation.
All other stakeholders, including party stalwarts and gubernatorial aspirants on the platform of the PDP later joined Jonathan and the governors for an enlarged meeting of the party.
Those who were in the meeting included Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Godswill Akpabio, Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa state, Adamawa state governor Governor. Bala Ngilari of Adamawa state, and Governor Henry Seriake-Dickson of Bayelsa State.
Others include the governors of Kebbi, Niger, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Abia, Bauchi and Kogi States.
