Abuja - The Ondo State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticised a gathering of South-West youths in support of Goodluck Jonathan, saying that the PDP President has no intentions of ending youth unemployment.
According to a statement signed by Omo'ba Adesanya, the party said on Thursday that a gathering of youths in Akure and sponsored by Governor Olusegun Mimiko did not reflect the desires of South-WWest youths, PUNCH reports.
Lamenting the event, the APC noted with sadness how youths that have been denied jobs and fortune have gathered to listen to "promises that will never be fulfilled".

The APC also noted how it is the youth that are often used as apolitical thugs for parties that are prone to violence.
The APC has urged youths to make informed decisions about who they choose to govern them.
The opposition party has also urged youths to vote for a person who is equipped to govern with integrity, while claiming that APC leader Muhammadu Buhari is the perfect candidate for the job.
