Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has denied reports that he and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spent N2tn for campaigns during the just-concluded general elections, reports Premium Times.

President Jonathan was responding to a report in Punch newspapers alleging that he has called for a probe on how the amount was spent without the desired victory in the polls.

President Jonathan’s denial was contained in a statement issued by his spokesman, Reuben Abati on Sunday.
