Jonathan hits at new APGA member

Lagos - President Goodluck Jonathan has hit at his former colleague, former minister of information, Labaran Maku, saying that he (Maku) is an anti-party activist, reports Leadership.  

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the former minister is a liar and an ungrateful individual. 

The president claimed that Maku’s decision to join the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was false. He went on to say was never supported by the current president running for a second term.

The president insisted that the PDP does not stand for anti-party activities, and went on to assure that there was no way that those activities would be supported as it goes against the ruling party regulations. 

Senate President and the director general, David Mark, stated that if Maku wanted to re join the party he would have to apologize. 

Maku has also been called greedy, by former PDP national chairman, Ahmadu Ali.
