Jonathan loses at Aso Villa polling units

Abuja - Following a day of rigorous activity, a final results announcement in Aso Villa revealed that APC leader Muhammadu Buhari beat opposition Goodluck Jonathan, with the former scoring 613 votes against Jonathan's 595.

The APC also experienced victory in the Senatorial election, with the APC receiving 597 against the PDP's 567 votes, Vanguard reports.

Regarding the House of Representatives election, the APC scored a total of 589 votes to beat out the PDP who managed to score 495 votes.

A total of 1,345 voters were reported to have been accredited at the two polling units.
