Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan is to leave Abuja to attend the 47th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government to be held in Accra, Ghana.

In a statement released by his Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, the President stated that he would be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aminu Wali, House of Representatives Majority leader, Mulikat Akande along with other principal aides.
Jonathan is expected to return to Nigeria at the conclusion of the summit.
The Summit which coincides with the ECOWAS 40 year anniversary will receive reports on matters regarding the current situations in Burkina Faso and Guinea Bissau.
