Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday waded into the crisis crippling political activities in the Ebonyi State chapter of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Daily Independent.
The president has raised a five-member Governors Committee to find a lasting solution to the impasse.
The committee is to help the Presidency resolve the face-off between Governor Martin Elechi and his deputy, Dave Umahi, which has sharply split the party in the state.

The committee members are Governors Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Saidu Dakingari (Kebbi), Sullivan Chime (Enugu) and Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom).
The committee met for several hours on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa.
