Lagos - President Goodluck Jonathan has been astonishingly accused of being hell bent on returning to office for a second term and that he would use any means necessary to accomplish this, Naij reported.

This seems to be the motive behind accusations that President Jonathan has been bribing native militias to cause chaos before, during and after the rescheduled elections.

These allegations were made in a press release by the Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG ) signed by its Chairman, Ifedayo Ogunlana and Secretary, Rasaq Olokoba.

An emergency meeting had also earlier taken place in Lagos, by the organisation, to discuss issues disrupting the elections.

The organisation further stated that its intelligence gathering had discovered that many militia groups were mobilised by the presidency.

Also that the removal of the Chairman of INEC, a few days before the elections would invite chaos within the country.
