Akure - The Labour Party has denied endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan in the February 14 presidential election, reports Punch.
Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, National Chairman of the party, said the party had not taken any position on endorsing anybody for the election.
He berated the party’s BOT chairman, Dan Iwuanyanwu, for going ahead to announce that the party has endorsed President Jonathan without regard to the party’s hierarchy and processes.Also read: Labour Party to adopt Jonathan as presidential candidate
He also slammed Iwuanyanwu for saying that the party was in support of the postponement of the scheduled elections.
