Katsina - A former Speaker of the House of Representatives and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Aminu Masari, has been declared the winner of the governorship election in Katsina State, reports Eagle Online.
Masari got 907 056 votes to take over the state from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The PDP candidate came a distant second with 557 826 votes.
The President-elect, Muhammaduu Buhari is from the state.
