Mu’azu rules out landslide victory for Jonathan

2015-03-20 14:31

Abuja - The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu, has admitted that the party’s presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan, will not get a landslide victory in the March 28 presidential election, reports Sahara Reporters.

He, however, said he was confident that President Jonathan will win the election.

Mu’azu in a statement on Thursday, confessed that President Jonathan and his main rival, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are running a close campaign this time around, making it difficult for pundits to predict the winner.

He denied the claim by the APC that Jonathan was distributing hard currency to traditional rulers to vote for him.

Mu’azu also expressed confidence that the PDP will win in the South-West and the North.
