"I call on all Nigerlites to eschew violence. For me, the victory of the All Progressives Congress (AP) candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and other candidates of the National Assembly in Niger should be celebrated and not desecrated by violence.

"We must understand that our democracy has thrived and Nigeria as a country must remain an indivisible entity with common interest and articulated developmental aspiration.’’

It pointed out that the elections in the state was peaceful, devoid of irregularities, adding that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the state should be commended for allowing the wish of the people to prevail.
