Abuja – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the forthcoming governorship election in Niger State, Umar Nasko, has called on his supporters to avoid violence and intimidation.

“As we match closer to the day of election, I call on all my supporters to remain resolute and keep the momentum of our campaign going, let the people know what we stand for and also avoid violence and intimidation, as you all know winners don't resort to violence, only losers do,” he said in a message CAJ News obtained.

He said the party’s programmes and manifesto were clearly outlined in the concise booklet called, “My Pact with Nigerlites. The Nasko Manifesto.”

He said their campaign is centered on issue and programme that has direct link to the heart of people.

"Our outreach programme and "door2door" campaign will reach all the corners of the state. We will meet everyone just like we did during our mega rallies and ensure that your belief in us is further strengthened,”
Nasko said.

The gubernatorial hopeful added their strategic action plan will solve challenges using the experiences gathered over several years, technology and new formula. –
