Abuja - Nine governors of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday boycotted the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party in Abuja, reports Punch.
The PDP governors absent at the event were Theodore Orji (Abia), Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Martin Elechi (Enugu).Also read: Jonathan warns campaigners against threats of violence
The others include Idris Wada (Kogi), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), Sule Lamido (Jigawa) and Jonah Jang (Plateau).
However, seven governors elected under the platform of the party attended the ceremony. The governors are Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), James Ngilari (Adamawa), Babangida Aliyu (Niger) and Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe State).
