Abuja - Northern party leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) are moving against one of the party’s national leaders from the South West, Bola Tinubu, reports New Mail.
The plot is to checkmate the overwhelming influence of Tinubu in the party.
The subtle moves to whittle down Tinubu’s influence in the party is being spearheaded by one of the staunch loyalists of President- elect, Muhammadu Buhari.

The loyalist was recently elected governor in one of the Northern states.
Tinubu is seen by the party leaders from North as an obstacle to their plans of fostering a Northern agenda on the party.
