Northern youths give Jonathan 7-day ultimatum

2015-01-23 21:31
Yola - The national leadership of Northern Youths Leader Forum (NYLF)  has given a seven-day ultimatum to President Goodluck Jonathan to publicly apologise to the people of the North over the death wish advert targeted at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, reports The Sun.

The group is also demanding letters of apology to the families of General Murtala Mohammed, General Sani Abacha and Musa Yar’Adua if Jonathan wants people from the north to vote for him.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the forum’s National Chairman, Comrade Elliot Afiyo, the group said it was saddened over the President’s silence on the issue.
